After countless afternoons of rising sand out of my afro and getting rinsed by massive clean up sets (big waves), I incidentally found my creative spark: surfing, film making, and water photography.

Throughout college I primarily worked in surf shops, spent late nights editing film, and shot photos for news outlets.

As my time on campus came to an end, my “career goalposts” slowly shifted into focus.

I found myself feeling the most confident, focused, and inspired within the storytelling medium.

From filming at remote surf breaks, civil rights protests, to Hollywood film sets, my diverse lived experiences drive my creativity.

Which brings us to today, where I’m using that POV to craft scroll-stopping visuals.

The work you’ll find here is the culmination of my professional film direction and spec ads from my time at the One School for Creativity.
